To wear or not to wear…underwear? A question that divides us more than you’d think.

🤔 Did you know? 1 in 4 people lie on a job application. And the generation with the highest percentage of offenders? Gen Z. Nearly half admit to lying at some point during a hiring process. The girlies agreed, there is a major difference between exaggerating and downright lying.

🔥 Hot tip from an HR girlie: make sure your resume and your LinkedIn tell the same story about your skill set. Oh, and maybe be honest about how many languages you speak. 🇫🇷 🥖

🫖 Carol brought the NSFN (not safe for newsletter) piping hot tea with the twist of a lifetime! We can’t spill here (girlie fight 🥊 club, remember) but we will say this…just because it’s a delicacy in some parts of the world doesn’t make it ok to try at home.

👙 To wear or not to wear…underwear. Who knew that what you do when you’re rocking a bodysuit could be so polarizing? Half the girlies in the room felt very strongly that “it’s weird” to wear underwear under your bodysuit and the other half like “girlies it’s good to layer up.”

👯‍♀️ You just had to be there: We learned olive oil isn’t just for the kitchen. iykyk. We still need someone to explain the Gen Z “halo lip gloss” trend? Exhibit A. Skylar: Considering how much of my life i’ve spent thinking about VPL (visible panty lines) you’d think I wouldn’t be the girlie wearing her underwear under a bodysuit, and yet that is absolutely the situation I was in on Thurs night, while reading a question about wearing underwear under a bodysuit. Talk about a moment of anxiety spiral “ok.. is everyone looking at me?”

I still don’t feel like I have a great answer for what I’m supposed to do when I’m staying over at someone’s house as a guest, washing my mascara laden face, and met with the host’s gorgeous white wash cloth.

Tonight is the night. I’m trying my sauvignon blanc with frozen jalapeño.

Carol: Yes, I agree. I gave too many “benefits of the doubt.”

Y’all have convinced me to once again board the steamy fairy book train. I have an unhinged personality trait that allows me to leave books and TV shows unfinished. Ex: I have about 40 pages left in ACOTAR: A Court of Mist & Fury (and have for about 2 years) and am lost somewhere in Season 3 of Game of Thrones. I’m aware this is psychotic behavior. Wow, a trend for me?
