Her boyfriend of two years disappeared while she was out of town… only for her to find out through the news that he’d married Angelina Jolie. Yeah, Billy Bob Thornton has to this day refused to acknowledge he ghosted Laura for a girl she once (wait for it) babysat.

📺 The girlies are v excited to binge the second season of Nobody Wants This (Netflix), and yes, they are still watching Stranger Things (Netflix). Overwhelmingly, everyone supports a Gilmore Girls rewatch this fall.

This or That questions that divided the room? Cristina Ricci or Jenna Ortega, and Reality TV Marathon or Full Moon Ritual.

A Girlie You Should Know from the night? Corri Smith. She’s the founder of Charlotte’s powerhouse agency Black Wednesday and the new Last Minute Club, known for her all-black style, spooky charm, and creative girl-gang energy that turns every idea into a moment.

Bushwhacked. It turns out most of us think the Kim K. pubic hair panties were a marketing stunt (40%), half of us thought whatever it was, it was weird (55%), and a small crowd is confident we’re over correcting for laser hair removing too close to the sun (5%). Kim K said one of her costars in the upcoming All’s Fair admitted to wearing them…

A couple weeks ago, Carol asked the girlies about our mental prep when it comes to the dreaded end of day warfare known as washing your face. 42% of you revealed that you stick to the sink and all the discipline it entails.

Some girlies replied with their tips to make the makeup removal ritual easier (true girlies!!) including oil cleansing, and microfiber wristbands.

Skylar: The Perfect Neighbor (Netflix). I watched it on the plane and had to hold back some truly ugly sobs. It’s an elevated documentary that hits both my true crime obsession and my filmmaker sensibilities, and I cannot recommend it enough. It’ll break your heart, and you’ll immediately want to text your entire group chat (or just everyone in your phone) about it. I did. (Shout out to my boyfriend for responding to my emotional essay the second I landed.)

💎 I love a museum heist. It feels elegant but mysterious, which are two adjectives no one has ever used to describe me. So yeah, this week was a lot like my super bowl when crown jewels were stolen from the Louvre.

Love is Blind. And dead in Denver. This season was a wild ride, and while it certainly satisfied my need to say “what in the actual fuck” every 20 minutes, that’s about it.

I’ve been doing this every month for years and it’s the most painful time of the month for me (I say that as someone whose uterus auditions for Alien: The Musical every 28 days).

I have a crystal-clear vision of myself beebopping through NYC: chic, mysterious, main character, but my current cart looks like I’m hosting a TED Talk on the ethical sourcing of vegan leather.
